In October of 2007, I was listening to local radio station KOH 780 AM and was alarmed as I heard a listener who had called in to say that at a local bar a mexican flag was flying over an American flag. She stated that the bar owner had been asked by several people to take it down and he refused, then went on to say that no one had the guts to do anything about it.

Although Reno Police Department had been advised of the situation, apparently they were not able to act.

I was enfuriated and decided I had to act!

I drove down to the location of the bar with my Ka-Bar knife and took down not only his mexican flag, but our American flag also! I felt that the mexican flag being raised over our American flag symbolized his blatant disregard for the sovereignty of our great Nation and its Flag.
